Or…er…my house…
Jumping on the bandwagon here!!
Though, if it weren’t for Twitter I wouldn’t have even known the president was making yet another television appearance tonight so…
Anyway, here’s the situation:
I have done one 5K in the last 2 months. And I walked it.
I have a 5K-10K-Half Marathon event coming up REALLY FAST.
My cardio capacity seems to be at a really low point, not to mention my leg endurance!
My diet has been, for lack of a better word, shit lately…I have just not been in the mood to cook and when I do cook, by the time it’s done, I don’t feel like eating what I made…So I either eat nothing or eat…well, crap! Good thing I don’t keep a lot of that around.
So, what am I going to do about it??
I have another appointment with the orthopedic center tomorrow morning and hopefully learn something which will let me know where I stand as far as exacerbating any injury next month (and the next few weeks while I try to get miles in!)
I’ve bought lots of things to make salads which I usually love so that might fix my eating issues. For now.
I have a bazillion (0r so) workout DVDs and will wake up tomorrow and, before my appointment, do one. Probably a short one — but the short one is Jillian Michaels so…
And Bikram. I need to get back. I really do. No matter the cost. When I go I *know* that I’m doing much better things for me. I eat better. I sleep better. Everything is better.
And I need more accountability. I’m currently taking part in a challenge and report my weight once a week. But, I know me and I know that my weight generally doesn’t reflect my health or fitness at all. Cause I could lose 5 pounds sitting on the couch drinking water for a week.
So I need a weekly workout post. That’s coming. Probably make that my “Truth on Tuesday” from now on!! See!! The old favorites DO come back!!
