Well, when I left you I was getting ready to head to Florida for the runDisney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend. So I’ve been a bit lax in recapping that trip. And it was a good trip!! Then there was the Santa Hustle half marathon. And the whole training thing. A birthday. And Thanksgiving….And hey, remember that Disney trip where I didn’t run? That was a good one too! And, yeah, lost my job as well.
And I’ve done NOTHING to get those recaps done. On top of that I have a couple of product reviews coming up that I’m excited about! Especially since it should help people decide what to get me for Christmas! 😉
So I’ll start with Training. Cause as you know #Dopey15 is getting Closer and closer and closer…and soon, the call will be coming from inside the house!
And, as you may have come to expect, I’ve had my ups and downs …twinges and cramps and strange pains coming from nowhere. I am more concerned at this point with trying to not be injured. And the cold doesn’t help! Though I love the winter and snow and all that means…it doesn’t make it easy to get out there but of course once I’m a mile or so in things go well. With the various twinges and aches KTTape is becoming my best friend for sure!
Coming up this weekend, I have a 19 miler and a 9 miler. Planning the 19-er on Saturday and of course the forecast calls for rain. I need to research great rain gear don’t I? Maybe a trip to Dick’s is in order for the day. Or, I think I have some coupons for Sports Authority. I am DEFINITELY accepting suggestions – what do YOU wear in the rain for running??
Next week I’ll be at a friend’s house where hopefully the weather won’t be bitter 🙂 (and that will be another awesome recap I need to get on top of!!!)
My plan today is to get on some Christmas decorating and run a few errands then settle in to do some updating – with any luck you’ll be inundated with posts today!! Or at least the next couple of days!!
But, no guarantee they’ll be in chronological order 🙂
