Someone Likes Me!! She Really Likes Me!

All apologies to Sally Fields – the original Gidget – but a fellow-blogger today nominated me for a  “Shine-On Award”…it’s no Emmy, but I’ll take it!! 🙂

Seven Random Facts About Me

1. I talk to myself a lot…no. Really A LOT….entire conversations and I don’t always win the arguments!

2. I love to cook, but hate when my house smells like I’ve been cooking

2b. I love to cook for other people. By the time a meal is done, I’ve been smelling it all day and just don’t want to eat it!

3. I can wear a shoe from a 5 up to an 8. The 5’s are generally in the 4+ heel height range…the 8’s are my running shoes.

4. I have access to tons of great running advice and I take about 10 % of it (Sorry Coach!)

5. I’ve met some great people through running/social media/social media about running!

6. I have a really hard time accepting compliments (and have a whole blog post in my head about the whole self-image thing but…)

7. I am planning on cutting off my hair sometime around my 50th birthday to give to a Locks of Love type charity…right now I probably have about 8 inches to give…I will have VERY short hair for awhile!!
